The companion app on the phone is only to help to install the watchface on your Wear OS® watch using your your phone.
If you want to customize the watchface, please close all apps on your watch. Then do a long tap on the watchface, then swipe to the Heart Rate Watch Face and use the settings button or icon below the watchface.
